A Katelyn Celebration!

 This little sweetheart turned 7 yesterday!! I can't believe my baby girl is growing up so quickly. She is so much fun and keeps us laughing all the time!

This year instead of having a birthday party, Katelyn got to invite a friend to go have a fun day with us. This is her friend Victoria:

Victoria spent all day Saturday with us playing, going to McDonald's for lunch, going to the movies, going out for ice cream, shopping for new outfits at Build A Bear for their animal pets, and more playing. They had the best day.

That night Brandon's sister Christy was in town for the night and we all went out to celebrate KK and Christy's birthdays.

It was so much fun to have Katelyn's birthday on Memorial Day because we were all home! We had breakfast together, KK's with a candle:

Then uncle Bub and his fiance Lindsey came and got KK. They took her to the Aquarium for her birthday.

Then Grandpa took KK out to lunch and to Toys R Us for her birthday shopping.

Yep, that is a Nerf gun that is almost as big as she is! A new nerf sword (never mind that she just got a new foam sword last weekend- she wanted a NERF one cause it's stronger) and it's kind of hidden but there is a stuffed dolphin under her arm too. Grandpa likes to spoil the grandkids on their birthdays. So fun!

We had a big barbecue for dinner with family. Katelyn felt so special.

What a fun birthday weekend. I've never seen anyone get as excited about her birthday as KK does! Right from the minute she wakes up she is excited and bouncing around, talking about her new age. She has been that way ever since her 3rd birthday. We love you sweetie!!
