New Bikes!

A few weeks ago we surprised the kids with some new bikes. It was so much fun! Brandon and I had gone out one night without the kids and after eating out decided to stop on the way home just to look at bikes. We had been thinking about getting them for their birthdays (Katelyn in May, Tanner in July) so I had already been kind of looking. Well, we found perfect ones for both of them and decided to just get them now. They had no idea we were going to do this so it was such a surprise. I told Katelyn that we had something outside for her and Tanner. She got so excited and yelled, "Is it a horse?!!" After I told her no, her next guess (of all things) was "Is it a candy machine?" I couldn't stop laughing but managed to tell her it was definitely not a candy machine. Then she said, "Is it a cookie machine? I love cookies!! Is it a cookie machine?" And she's jumping up and down. I don't know where she gets these things! When we took them outside, they both just ran over and got right on and were SO SURPRISED and EXCITED!!! It was so much fun. Tanner has a hard time pedaling but steers well, Katelyn can pedal just fine but goes all over the place because she doesn't pay attention to steering. We have spent lots of time outside and it's been really fun!
