The Mall

We went to the mall the other day just to have a fun outing for the kids. The original plan was to go to the zoo but the weather was not supposed to be good. The mall is still fun and since it's indoors it was a good backup plan. One of Katelyn's favorite things to do is ride the carousel... It is so funny to watch her riding it because in her mind she's actually riding a real horse and she's on a great adventure. She has such a vivid imagination!! It is fun to watch her since she loves it so much! Luckily Tanner enjoys it too so it's fun for all.

Then we were heading over to play in the Dinosaur kids play area and Tanner spotted the large water fountain. It was hilarious because as soon as he saw it he yells "Bath time!" And he kept saying it over and over. When we went downstairs to see it closer he actually tried to climb in.

After playing at the dino area for awhile, we ate some pizza at the food court, rode the carousel some more, then headed home for naptime. We all had a good time. Brandon did comment over lunch (as we were trying to keep the kids in their chairs, just SIT DOWN and eat instead of run all over) that life was better before kids. I corrected him by saying "not better, just EASIER!" We had been chasing the kids all over the mall for a couple hours and he was exhausted. I will note here that he had enough energy left after getting home to go golfing...funny how he gets a second wind as soon as the opportunity for golf arises!
