Thinking it was a late Christmas present for his classmates I asked Katelyn, "Did he give anyone else a present?"
"Nope."
"Did he give a card to anyone else?"
"No, just me!"
Turns out, this token of affection was not Christmas related at all.
Katelyn could not be more excited that Miguel wants to marry her. She intends to write a note back to him telling him she accepts his proposal.To quote Katelyn: "I love Miguel and he is a very good friend to me. He always helps me with my coat and gets my backpack. I think he will be a good husband if I marry him."
All day I've been hearing, "Miguel is my boyfriend and he wishes to marry me!" With the music card playing "The Best of my Love" in the background. Thanks Miguel, we've been dancing all afternoon.

Oh my goodness Jess! You're already going to have to start beating the boys away. She's just way too cute for her own good :) That is so funny though - "I wish to marry you" - kids are awesome!
Has anyone seen the new show, "Modern Family?" I wonder if this Miguel knows Manny from the show. They'd get along.
