A New 'Do

Katelyn has been asking for awhile to cut her hair. I finally gave in and today she got a big change. I asked her if she wanted to go somewhere like a salon or have Grandma cut it. She chose Grandma so off we went. (Don't mind the background, my mom is getting her kitchen remodeled.)

She really likes it! I love that it made her so happy! Good thing, I don't know what I would've done if she hated it. This length is a lot more manageable for Daddy while I am healing from shoulder surgery too.



9 months ago, May 2009, Katelyn got her first major haircut. It never made it to the blog and since this is our family journal/scrapbook I'm going to add it here.

Katelyn has had her hair trimmed several times but never more than a few inches. She had been asking me for awhile about a haircut because it would get so tangley so I finally took her to Cookie Cutters (a really great kids salon). She was thrilled to be there because this is where we take Tanner every 6 weeks and it looks so fun, she was so excited that it was her turn to pick a vehicle to sit in, pick a show to watch, and get a balloon.

Her hair went down to her bum and we had them cut it up to her shoulder blades. They styled it so cute!


When we got home and took the messy buns out, she had a quick bath and shampoo. These are the after pics:
