Tanner started preschool last week. He was so excited to go back, especially since Katelyn started school 2 weeks before he did. Last year in the 3 year old class they went 2 days a week. This year he is in the 4 year old class and he goes 4 days a week. There was an open house the first day of school for the kids to bring their parents with them. We did a scavenger hunt to get familiar with the classroom. He was more interested in playing blocks or cars than completing the tasks because he already knew the class having been there last year. I managed to get him to focus long enough to do what we had to do and he earned a treat at the end and finally had time to play. We went to the open house with his best friend Anthony.
The next day he went on his own the whole time! He loved it. He loves his teachers, friends, the stories and songs, everything. This year is fun for him because he knows a lot of the kids in his class from last year. He has the same teacher Katelyn had for preschool and Katelyn tells him, "Tanner, you are so lucky!" He likes Mrs. Bonnie and I know he is going to have a great time this year!
