The Band-Aid Cure

The other day my sweet Tanner Bug tripped and split his lip open on the tile coffee table. He was wearing his new skateboard t-shirt for the first time, but luckily he was also wearing a bib since we had sloppy joes for dinner. The bib got LOTS of blood on it, and the new shirt got only a little blood.
We got the bleeding under control (and there was LOTS of blood) and he got to have an otter pop to help the swelling. It instantly swelled up and was big for a few days.

But he still hurt. Really bad.
Anyone with a child knows that any type of bump, scrape, etc. is followed by a band-aid request. Especially if you buy cool band-aids with pictures of favorite guys on them.
Spiderman band-aid coming right up. Helped him feel lots better about things.

Until he wanted his sippy cup milk. Tears all over again because it hurt his lower lip to drink out of his cup. :(

Luckily we have straws. :)

Band-aids do work miracle that is for sure. I keep them on hand all the time, but my guy rally hates it when they have characters on them, he'd rather bleed all over than wear a Dora and Boots band-aide.

Oh my gosh he is too cute. Little kids are so funny...that would bug me so bad to have a bandaid right under my lower lip! But I'm glad it made him feel better!
