Tanner Starts Preschool!!

Well my little Tanner Bug isn't so little. He is a big preschooler now! He just started this week at the elementary school. They have a really great preschool program there, and it is so nice to have Tanner and Katelyn at the same school. Their classrooms are actually right next to each other!

This is Tuesday morning, eating an early breakfast. Tanner's not much of a breakfast eater but I got him to eat some oatmeal (his favorite).

Then it was off to school for his first day! He looks so cute. He was so excited to go!!

This is Tanner's really good friend Cambria who he is going to school with. They have been talking about going to school together all summer long!

The first day was an open house for about an hour (usually class is 3 hours) so I got to stay with Tanner and we played "I spy" to find things around the classroom and get him familiar with everything. One of the things was to find the blocks and stack some.

This is where he will sign in to class every time. He finds the monkey with his name and puts it on the tree.

I was happy that I got to be there with Tanner his first day so we could both see what it would be like!

On our way out we had to check out the playground :)

Then today was the real deal....he went to class on his own!

He was nervous to be with out me, as you can see here. He was just holding back the tears. Wait, maybe that wasn't him....maybe it was ME!! He's so big, I can't believe it.

Tanner and Cambria had a GREAT day!! They did all kinds of fun things and love their new teacher.

He is going to have so much fun in preschool! He is such an awesome little man!! Way to go Tanner!!
